Certains clients ont un réel talent ... (mais parfois c'est aussi "un peu" leur métier ... quand ils sont carrossier)

Voilà quelques très sympatiques photos de l'ovale verte pour laquelle nous avions assemblé un 2.3L.
celle ci est en pleine étape remontage ... et donc, à la vue des premiers clichés envoyés par son propriétaire.
on ne peux qu'admirer le tendu et la profondeur de la peinture et le soin apporté au circuit electrique 

Voilà une voiture qui promet ... j'ai hâte de voir les prochaines photos ... pas vous ?

Here are some photos of the very sympatic green oval for which we had assembled a 2.3L engine.
that is in full reassembly step ... and therefore, at the sight of the first images sent by its owner.
we can only admire the tension and depth of the paint and the attention to electric circuit

This is a car that promises ... I look forward to the next photo ... dont you ?

avec le montage des durites et raccords Aeroquip ... ici un montage hyper discret : durites et raccords anodizés noir !
et le début du montage du kit de frein à disques CSP ...

Nous voilà maintenant à l'étape suivante de ce moteur 2.3L destiné à une ovale avec l'arrivée de la boite KCR.
Une "Ultra Street" renforcée, arbres de roues renforcés, 4 vitesses ré-étagées, super Diff et Heavy duty side plates.
le tout est assemblé avec des planétaires "17 Dents" VW neufs (disponibles chez PAT ... )

We are now in the next stage of the 2.300cc engine for an oval with the arrival of the KCR gearbox
An "Ultra Street" gusseted, reinforced axle shafts, 4 speed re-staged, Super Diff' and Heavy duty side plates.
All is assembled with brand new VW "17 theeth" axle ends gears (available from PAT)

Nous voilà presque à la dernière étape de ce moteur 2.3L destiné à une ovale
Son assemblage est terminé ... le voilà sur le banc pour sa première montée en régime ...  

La suite ... très prochainement ... avec le placement des durites aeroquip et du breather box ...

Nous voilà à la 4e étape de ce moteur 2.3L destiné à une ovale avec la modification d'une paire de Weber 48 IDA.
Usinage des venturi pour les agrandir et modification des corps de carbu pour accepter le montage des gros cornets Berg
( le corps du carbu est percé et taraudé pour fixer les diffuseurs, qui eux ont été découpés )

We are at the fourth stage of this 2.300cc engine for an oval with the modification of a pair of 48 IDA Weber
Machining the venturi to enlarge them, and modifying the body to accept of the bigger Berg velocity stacks.
(the body of the carburator is drilled and tapped to fix the auxiliary venturies, which were cut out)

Nous voilà à la 3e étape de ce moteur 2.3L destiné à une ovale.
Les tôles sont revenues de carrosserie, il est temps de vous montrer le travail effectué !

Le placement d'un radiateur d'huile "Type 4" (plus large) obligeais quelques modifications aux tôles ...
Découpes, pliages, soudures, meulages ... bien préparées et peintes en cabine, voilà le résultat !

The engine tin are back from the bodyshop, it's time to show you the work ! 

Mounting the "Type 4" oil cooler (larger) required some modification to the tin ...
Cutting, bending, welding, grinding ... Test fitted and painted in a booth, this is the result !

We are one step further with this 2.300cc engine for an oval.
I had detailled the contents of the parts and presented the early stage of block assembly before it is closed.
Now it's done, Pat working at dry mounting of the tin before paint ...

Voilà un 2300 cc, histoire de nous sortir de la série des 3 moteurs 1915 cc qui étaient en construction à l'atelier moteur ...

Cylindrée 2332 cc (84x94), Bloc Alu CB Performance, Vilbrequin et volant moteur DPR wedgemated, Bielles 5600 CB Performance,
Kit Pistons A/A Racing, arbre à came FK87 ENGLE, pignons taille droite MAGNUM,
Poussoirs SCAT, Culasses CB Performance "Ultra Wedge Port" 044, Soupapes 44x39,
Culbuteurs CB performance 1.4, Ressorts JPM, Pompe à huile CB Performance plugée pour le Full Flow BERG,
Carter huile supplémentaire EMPI, Allumage MSD et une paire de 48 IDA Weber pour completer l'ensemble ...  

L'ensemble des pièces ont été verrifiées et l'assemblage des éléments internes a déja commencé
j'en profite pour vous placer une photo prise du calage de l'arbre à came ...
(contrôle destiné a s'assurer de la position correcte de l'AAC sur le pignon par rapport aux données du constructeur)
à l'heure actuelle, il est quasi refermé ... la suite au prochain épisode ...

Voilà un moteur qui terminera dans une Ovale assez sympa ... 

Here is a 2300 cc, just to get us out of the series of three 1915cc that are under construction in the engine workshop ...
2332 cc engine (84x94) Aluminium CB Performance case, DPR "wedgemate" flyweel and crankshaft , CB Performance 5600 rods,
A/A Racing Pistons, ENGLE FK87 camshaft, MAGNUM straight cut gears, SCAT lifters, 
044 "Ultra wedge port" CB Performance heads, 44x39 valves, CB 1.4 rockers, JPM Springs,
CB Perf oil pump plugged for the BERG Full Flow, EMPI external oil sump and a pair of 48 IDA Webers to finish ...

All parts were checked and the assembly of internal components has already started
I take this opportunity to show you a picture taken of timing of the camshaft ...
(a check to ensure the correct position of the camshaft on the pinion relative to the Manufacturer's data )
At this time, it is almost closed ... the rest will follow soon ... 

This engine will end in a pretty Oval beetle ...
